Congress and event capacity: up to 5,200 delegates in the plenary room at Paris Convention Centre.

With 3 international airports and an exceptional high-speed rail network, Paris has unparalleled transport connections in Europe. Local public transport provides a fast and economical way to get around Paris with 16 lines and more than 300 stations, a closely-knit network covering all the city and its surroundings. And for an even more sustainable way to get around, 1,000 km of bike paths and bike lanes link all Parisian sites for safe and efficient transit, and 6,000 km expand the city in a wide net.
The scale and quality of the meeting infrastructure is a key reason for Paris’ appeal as a corporate event destination. The Paris Convention Centre, the Palais des Congrès, with auditoriums designed for the largest conventions, complete the offer composed of thousands of meeting rooms and venues, suitable for events of any size.
Throughout the year, the capital is always abuzz with big events: Paris Air Show, Tour de France finish, French Open, Fashion weeks … whether they be cultural, sporting or professional, all receive major coverage and attendance. The 2023 Rugby World Cup and the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics left a strong legacy and showed the world the hospitality and professionalism of Paris's tourism industry.
As world-renowned tourist destination, Paris is committed to sustainable development and is implementing a range of action plans to create a more environmentally responsible city such as The Paris Climate Action Plan. It aims to create a carbon-neutral city with 100% renewable energy, while the Biodiversity Action Plan focuses on increasing vegetation in public spaces and protecting flora and fauna. Energy, ecomobility, waste management, air quality and nature preservation are at the core of these action plans. 1,700 Parisian professionals signed the Hospitality Manifesto for a sustainable vision and engagement for all Parisian events, and Paris was rewarded as one of the top 20 sustainable destinations worldwide by the GDS index in 2024.
Over 2,000 hotels account for 136,000 rooms in Greater Paris, including 438 hotels awarded a GreenKey in 2025, a strong movement leading the accommodation towards a more sustainable footprint.
Luxury hotels, including 12 palaces, boutique hotels, conference hotels, not to forget serviced apartments: the abundant and eclectic offer gives planners plenty of leeway to choose between independent properties and all-in-one solutions combining accommodation with meeting and conference spaces.
Paris is not only a cultural hub but also a city of creators and artists who advocate a more responsible way of life, such as local consumption and distribution networks. From discovering ancestral know-how, sensory and creative experience to powerful encounters with people who are keen to share their passion, there are plenty of opportunities to discover local Paris.
