NANCY
Congress and Event Capacity : Up to 6,800 delegates

Nancy is a city on a human scale, where everything can be done on foot, accessible by public transport and served by the high-speed rail network to the city center, by North-South and East-West European motorways and by air. The Greater Nancy is connected to major European metropolises.
Since 2014, DESTINATION NANCY has been committed to a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach to combine the ephemeral with the sustainable. ISO 20121 certified since 2018, the organization incorporates sustainable development values into its operations: strategy, purchasing, event organization, infrastructure, and communication. In 2020, the Greater Nancy Tourist Office became the first in France to achieve this certification. In 2022, Nancy’s commitment took another step forward with the awarding of the "Sustainable Innovative Destination" label, whose impact is even more significant as it applies across the entire territory. To mark the 10th anniversary of its CSR initiative, an engaged version of the DESTINATION NANCY logo was created, and a journey illustrating our actions was designed by a local artist within the Convention Center.
Nancy has established itself as a major economic and scientific hub, with a strong synergy between companies, laboratories and universities. This is borne out by the 51,000 students in the metropolitan area, some of whom come from far and wide to take advantage of our world-renowned research laboratories. The region is also home to several competitive clusters of excellence, notably in the fields of healthcare, materials and digital technology. A scientific and medical technology park mobilizes 300 establishments, 2,000 research professors and major national research institutes. Buoyed by cutting-edge research and a dynamic economic fabric, Nancy is constantly innovating, attracting talent, investors and project leaders.
Nancy is a city of exceptional heritage. Place Stanislas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with Place de la Carrière and Place d'Alliance, embodies the elegance of the 18th century. Other treasures to be discovered in the historic center and metropolis include the Porte de la Craffe, the Palais du Gouvernement, the Cordeliers church, the Château de Fléville...
Nancy also shines thanks to the École de Nancy, the birthplace of Art Nouveau, and its emblematic figures: Gallé, Majorelle, Daum... Architecture, furniture, glassmaking... this artistic movement has left its mark throughout the city. The École de Nancy museum, villas and facades decorated with floral motifs offer a unique journey between classical heritage and artistic modernity.
Nancy is home to over 20 sweet specialities. DESTINATION NANCY - Office de Tourisme Métropolitain, la Métropole du Grand Nancy, la CCI du Grand Nancy Métropole Meurthe-et-Moselle and la Chambre des Métiers 54 have joined forces to create the NANCY PASSIONS SUCRÉES brand. The brand has been awarded to 9 professionals for over 20 specialties. Macaroon, bergamot, mirabelle plum, madeleine, Saint-Epvre, gingerbread, baba, candies, red sugar, jams, chocolates, meringues... The NANCY PASSIONS SUCRÉES brand is a guarantee of exceptional, handcrafted products, made in our region using traditional processes, with excellent quality products whose origin has been verified.
Bleisure Travel is a trend that is increasingly appealing to companies. Nancy is at the forefront of this trend, which involves extending a business trip for leisure purposes, or combining work and leisure during a business trip. With emblematic venues to host all types of events, from the modern Convention Center to the Parc des Expositions for large-scale events, not forgetting atypical venues such as the Opéra national de Lorraine, the Musée des Beaux-Arts or the Grands salons de l'Hôtel de Ville, Nancy has everything to please. There's so much to discover on your visit: culinary specialties, historical heritage, 300 hectares of parks and gardens...
