EUSIPCO24 – August, 26th -30th, 2024 - Lyon Convention Center
"EUSIPCO is the annual premier European Signal Processing Conference. The 32nd edition was held in Lyon, and this 2024 edition had a specific flavor, with focus on interdisciplinary researches in signal and image processing, geared toward major societal challenges.
EUSIPCO24 in Lyon gathered 830 participants from 43 different countries and all continents, the largest audience for EUSIPCO ever, held every year in the most prestigious cities of Europe.
EUSIPCO24 created a unique opportunity for students and young scientists to meet the most famous and senior scientists of the discipline and to discuss with them the most advanced and recent scientific advances of the field.
EUSIPCO24 also organized exceptional circumstances for academic and industry research teams from all Europe to meet, interact and envisage collaborations, aiming to address future technical challenges together with major societal stakes.
The scientific program featured 530 scientific contributions presented during either oral and poster sessions. Four plenary lectures given by world reknown scientists provided participants with a broad and comprehensive surveys of forthcoming challenges in signal processing and applications, of interest to academy, industry and society (communications, IA, sciences and society, large dimensions). A well-set 3-minute thesis contest, organized as a plenary session in the main auditorium of the conference, put in light the outstanding creativity of young scientists (PhD Students: five women and five men, from several different countries) to discuss in depth scientific content without the recourse to technical jargon.
A photographer, based in Lyon, was invited to create memories of “sciences in practice” by capturing, beyond “clichés” about science, moment when scientists are physically engaged in transmitting and in sharing science, a delicate issue in times where it is believed that virtual meetings only could suffice to scientific progresses.
EUSIPCO24 organization committee took great care of gender equality balance, inter-generation interactions, and, with the collaboration of the Lyon Convention Center, of ecological transition stakes. The much-appreciated by The EURASIP (European Association for Signal Processing) board and by each participant of the high quality of EUSIPCO24 organization greatly benefitted at all stages from the efficient and active concourse of OnlyLyon.
The welcome cocktail, held at the “Palais de la Bourse”, permitted all participants to discover the quality of life in the City of Lyon, its architectural beauty, the warm atmosphere of its downtown, the richness of its history, as well as the efficiency and quality of its public transportation system. A local team of “magicians”, invited at the cocktail, engaged performance with the participants, proposing them to reconsider the relations between sensible and sensitive worlds, an intricate issue in a time when generative IA can significantly impact the practice of research both positively and negatively.
Last, but not least, the gala diner, held at the Bocuse restaurant “L’abbaye de Collonges”, comforted the EUSIPCO24 international and demanding audience with the idea that Lyon remains the capital city world-wide for gastronomy, wine, and “savoir-vivre”.

LogiPharma 2024 - 16-18 April 2024 - Centre de Congrès de Lyon
"LogiPharma returned to Lyon for a 2nd year in 2024 and was a great success. Our attendees and sponsors really enjoyed the venue and all of the new features we added to our exhibition area, with the help of the team at the Centre de Congrès de Lyon. We have over 1,000 attendees and 150 sponsors over the 3 day event and the logistics team at the venue were a great support to us in assisting with anything we required. Outside of the main conference & exhibition, we included running and yoga sessions as well as offsite drinks receptions around the city. Our attendees love going out and exploring the Old Town of Lyon and the Convention Bureau helped us out with many local recommendations. We are looking forward to running another successful 2025 edition!" - Amy Hemsley - Deputy Head of Event Management

15th ESMINT Congress - September 2025 - Marseille - Palais du Pharo
ESMINT, the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy, annually hosts a prominent event that serves as a vital platform for medical practitioners and scientists specializing in various neurointerventional fields. The 15th ESMINT Congress was held in Marseille at Palais du Pharo in September and brought together a record number of 1 315 delegates. It aimed to foster inter- disciplinary discussions among professionals in neuroradiology, interventional neuroradiology, neurointerventional surgery, endovascular neurosurgery, and vascular neurology.
President Prof. Paolo Machi expressed his excitement about the event’s relocation to Marseille, emphasizing the fresh energy it brought to the research community. The congress featured cutting-edge plenary sessions, clinical research findings, case presentations, and discussions on topics ranging from robotics and artificial intelligence to regulatory aspects of device development. Collaboration with sister societies, interactive sessions, morbimortality discussions, educational activities, and a vibrant social program added to the event's richness.
He added, "The annual ESMINT Congress is one of the most important events in our specialty held around the world. As the host city for our event, Marseille provided the ideal setting not only for knowledge exchange, but also an exciting social program with plenty of opportunities in stunning locations.”
Nisan Bartov from CONGREX, the PCO that organized the event, lauded Marseille as an ideal conference destination. He cited the city's outstanding congress venue, easy accessibility to hotels and restaurants, and the proactive support from Marseille Convention Bureau as key factors contributing to its appeal.
